ÖIR led a participatory stakeholder process with the aim to structure a tourism strategy, which takes into account the specificities of the Iveragh peninsula (IE). The involvement of the regional stakeholders allowed taking into consideration the very specific geographical conditions of the Iveragh Peninsula in order to identify the challenges linked to tourism in the region. This process was moderated by ÖIR and accompa-nied by territorial evidence helping thus to shape the decisions within and for the region.
