The REGIO Peer2Peer Communities were created to form a network of civil servants from regional and national administrations, particularly managing authorities of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Cohesion Fund and the Just Transition Fund. The main purpose of the Communities is for their members to share knowledge and practices in order to use the funds more effectively. To do so, several thematic communities have been set up.

In collaboration with t33 (lead partner), Joanne Tordy and Helene Gorny from ÖIR have been managing and moderating two thematic Communities, one on citizen participation, one on circular economy. Several online meetings have been organised, including brainstorming exercises, discussions related to the participants’ needs, challenges and ideas. The communities are meeting two to three times a year and keep on growing, thereby fostering interactions and possible solutions to challenges faced by national and regional authorities from different European Member States.
