Territorial Impact Assessment (TIA) as an instrument for assessing regional impacts of policies and legislations is of high relevance for the participants of the EWRC and thus regularly covered in workshops and presentations. At this years EWRC, which was conducted exclusively via videochat, Bernd Schuh and Roland Gaugitsch demonstrated in a practical exercise how an online workshop for a Territorial impact Assessment of the CRII+ packages can be conducted. Within this package the European Commission proposed a new set of measures to mobilise support against the negative impacts of COVID-19 on the economy and the people. Furthermore, representatives of DG REGIO, the CoR and ESPON presented practical applications and the latest developments of the ESPON TIA Tool.
