REPowerEU consitutes the action plan of the EU to become independent from Russian fossil fuels as soon as possible, following the agression of Russia against Ukraine in spring 2022. On behalf of the Committee of the Regions, OIR is conducting a territorial impact assessment of this ambitious plan, identifying the challenges and benefits for regions across Europe. On June 9th, Bernd Schuh and Roland Gaugitsch held a TIA workshop at the CoR in Brussels with experts from across Europe. The final assessment report is expected to be published in July 2022.
