In the context of the Territorial Agenda 2030 a number of pilot activities are conducted – supporting regions and Member States in putting into practice the goals of the Agenda. One of those pilot activities concerns instruments for Territorial Impact Assessment (TIA) and is implemented by the Member States Poland, Germany, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. At the two-day event, experts in TIA methodologies from JRC, ESPON, DG REGIO, DG AGRI and OIR presented their approaches and discussed them with the participants.

Core element of the Conference was a simulated TIA Workshop with the participants led by Erich Dallhammer, Bernd Schuh and Roland Gaugitsch applying the ESPON TIA Tool.
