ÖIR, Nordregio, TU Delft and EPRC held a series of three workshops on providing targeted territorial evidence research and the design of result indicators for INTERREG Programmes between 19 and 20 March in Marseille, Delft and Malmö. These workshops were organised under the framework of the ESPON Territorial Evidence Support for ETC Programmes project. Under the moderation of ÖIR, programme stakeholders of INTERREG A and B Programmes discussed:

  • Targeted territorial evidence, characterising the state of the programme area along defining socio-economic characteristics on NUTS-3 level (illustrated via synthetic indicators in areas such as innovation output, programme area cultural and natural attractiveness, value-added in economic processes) for each of the participating programmes,
  • The programmes’ experience with their current result indicators, as well as the appropriateness of the developed indicators,
  • The programmes’ expectations in regards to indicators in the programming period 2021-2027, and
  • The keep.eu interface: a tool designed to interlink territorial data from keep.eu and EPSON Scientific Database.

The workshops were moderated by Erich Dallhammer, Bernd Schuh, Martyna Derszniak-Noirjean and Arndt Münch.
