In the Framework of the Greek Presidency of the Council of the european Union, the Hellenic Ministry for Development and Competitivness organised the Evalution Conference “Focus on Results: European experience and prospects for Greece” on May 16th 2014 (see http://www.espa.gr/en/Pages/NewsFS.aspx?item=631). The conference facilitated the exchange of ideas in topics of mutual interest in the field of evaluation, such as the role of evaluation in the new programming period, the new challenge that is being created by the result – oriented approach and also the implications for strategic programming, OIR – represented by Bernd Schuh – has been invited to represent the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water-Management and present the experiences of the ex- ante evaluation of the Austrian Rural Development Programme – with an emphasis on the Evaluation Plan in the upcoming programming period.
