At this first encounter under the auspices of the European Parliament, Erich Dallhammer and Bernd Schuh of ÖIR met representatives of the Committee of Regional development to discuss work plan and the general approach to the study. Based on the experience from the two first macro-regional strategies and the new Cohesion Policy regulations for the 2014-2020 programming period, OIR will analyse – together with its partners Delft University of Technology, Spatial Foresight and t33 – the future role of macro-regions in the implementation of the European Territorial Cooperation (ETC).
