The World Bank has selected ÖIR to develop a methodology and supporting tool for Territorial Impact Assessments (TIA) in the national Romanian context. Roland Gaugitsch, Bernd Schuh and Chien-Hui Hsiung are developing the tool and testing it on the national “Anghel Saligny”-infrastructure programme. The tool allows for assessments on municipal level, which has not been possible with semi-quantitative TIA methodologies previously. The project is implemented in cooperation with a national Romanian Partner and the Ministry for Development, Public Works and Administration of Romania.
