In cooperation with the World Bank, a strategy for mountain areas is currently being developed in Romania to prepare the regions for the coming challenges of an ecological, economic and social nature. ÖIR was commissioned by the World Bank to conduct an ex-ante analysis of the strategy. Roland Gaugitsch, Erich Dallhammer, Cristian Andronic and Reinhard Pichler are carrying out the analyses making use of the national TIA tool for Romania. The project is being implemented in cooperation with a national Romanian partner this autumn.
