Intensive work is currently underway – both at national level and on the part of the EU Commission – for the new EU programming period. In this context, the ÖIR team (Ursula Mollay and Manon Badouix), together with our partner NIRAS, is supporting the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) in the preparation of a guide for the adequate implementation of gender equality objectives and gender mainstreaming in programming. The guide will complement EIGE’s gender budgeting tools and is expected to be available in all EU languages in early 2022.
