The study “Implementation of EU legislation on “on-farm” animal welfare: Potential EU added value from the introduction of animal welfare labelling requirements at EU level” by Arcadia International and ÖIR was presented in the European Parliament and published. The study was commissioned by the European Parliamentary Research Service to analyse the extent of implementation of EU legislation in the field of animal welfare on farms across the EU. This analysis included an evaluation of the EU legislation and a mapping of labelling schemes in Member States. You can download the study via this link.
