Territorial Impact Assessment (TIA) as an instrument for assessing regional impacts of policies and legislations is of high relevance for the participants of the EWRC and thus regularly covered in workshops and presentations. At this years EWRC, \u00d6IR will host a session with the topic \u201e Space matters – Territorial Impact Assessment in the legislative process\u201c, where a new tool for a \u201cTIA necessity check\u201d will be presented. It shall support decisionmakers in getting a quick overview of potential territorial consequences of a policy, and in this way identify the need for more detailed analyses. In the session, speakers from the European Commission, the Committee of the Regions as well as ESPON will be participating.<\/p>\n\n
