The kick-off meeting took place in September 2019 and the evaluation shall end in October 2020. The evaluation shall identify the strong points and areas for improvement of CAP instruments and measures in terms of balanced territorial development in rural areas with focus on socio-economic aspects, including social inclusion. The lessons learned will feed into future policy development.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with ADE S.A., CCRI and CREA, OIR has been commissioned by DG AGRI to evaluate the socio-economic impacts of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) on territorial development of rural areas. The kick-off meeting took place in September 2019 and the evaluation shall end in October 2020. The evaluation shall identify the strong points and areas for improvement of CAP instruments and measures in terms of balanced territorial development in rural areas with focus on socio-economic aspects, including social inclusion. The evaluation will cover the period after the 2013 EU Common Agricultural Policy reform \u2013 i.e. 2014 (Pillar II) and 2015 (Pillar I). The scope encompasses the whole EU and all measures within the CAP.
