European Spatial Development
We support ministries, public authorities and EU institutions in questions of spatial planning, territorial development and governance structures.
European Spatial Development
Many regions across the European Union are in transition due to economic transformation, climate change, migration and urbanisation. In the context of European spatial development, territorial policies are implemented to improve regional competitiveness, enhance sustainability and increase the quality of life. At European level, an interplay of national, regional and European funding instruments contributes to these goals.
With our longstanding experience in spatial development, we deliver services to regional and national authorities as well as EU institutions in spatial planning, territorial development and governance structures. We also assist actors in preparing regional analyses and developing spatial planning concepts. We apply our competences in spatial issues through tailored quantitative analysis methods – such as spatial econometric or GIS-analyses. Due to our language and regional competences, as well as our network of experts, we are able to conduct EU-wide studies.
Our services:
- Territorial development and governance structures
- Spatial planning and development in Europe
- Regional analyses: regional statistics and GIS-expertise at various territorial levels
