The project comprised the mid-term review of the Austrian IGJ/EFDF & JTF programme 2021-2027, which was carried out by ÖIR in cooperation with convelop. The aim was to evaluate the programme implemen-tation and identify obstacles to implementation, including the examination of socio-economic develop-ments, milestones and programme effectiveness. In addition, ÖIR assessed the extent to which a strategic environmental assessment is necessary due to the planned programme amendment. Supporting the amendment process, the contracting team assessed the possibilities of integrating programme changes tied to STEP, including the extent to which large enterprises can be supported by cohesion policy means.
