MAK-RES explores how spatial planning can support the deployment of renewable energy—particularly wind and solar—across Europe, addressing the key challenges of land-use conflicts, public acceptance and administrative barriers. The project conducts in-depth case studies in seven countries: Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Portugal, Romania, and Spain.
