Upgrade of the ESPON’s Territorial Impact Assessment methodology – new innovative approaches

ÖIR, leading a consortium with CASE – Center for Social and Economic Research, University of Ljubljana, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and Palacký University Olomouc, has been contracted by ESPON EGTC to upgrade its existing TIA methodology. The project aims to make the method more flexible, robust and applicable at national and subnational levels. Over the course of 18 months, the project team will implement innovative methodological elements, test their applicability in case studies and ultimately deliver concrete guidance and application pathways. The project outputs will support national and regional authorities in stronger integrating territorial thinking into policy design.
