After Amsterdam, the second Intensive Lab Session in the course of the FP7 project TRANSFORM, coordinated by OIR and the City of Vienna (MA18) as responsible project partners, took place in Hamburgs Wilhelmsburg quarter between 14.10.-18.10.2013. This workshop was linked to he final conference of the international building exhibition (IBA) Hamburg.
After Amsterdam, the second Intensive Lab Session in the course of the FP7 project TRANSFORM, coordinated by OIR and the City of Vienna (MA18) as responsible project partners, took place in Hamburgs Wilhelmsburg quarter between 14.10.-18.10.2013. This workshop was linked to he final conference of the international building exhibition (IBA) Hamburg. Starting with an inspiring excursion to the energy bunker, visiting innovative building concepts and a number of other implementation projects of IBA Hamburg, Christof Schremmer and Ursula Mollay participated at the conference „Renewable Wilhelmsburg – Climate Protection Concept – Review | Outlook | Comparison“. Following this inputs, detailed future concepts and implementation strategies for Wilhelmsburg were discussed in intensive workshops with TRANSFORM-partners and local experts. These comprehensive experiences and new implementation concepts can be used by the TRANSFORM partners to enrich the coming Intensive Lab Sessions in Copenhagen, Lyon und Genoa.
