Over two days at the of February we had the pleasure of welcoming colleagues from University of Ljubljana, FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, CASE – Center for Social and Economic Research and Palacký University Olomouc at ÖIR for our “Creativity Lab” within the ESPON TIA Upgrade project.

Together we dived deep into methods and stakeholder needs for TIA, to set the path for the upcoming months of method development in our exciting project. A big thank you to all partners for their valuable contributions, critical reflections and creative energy. Now we are looking forward to getting the upgraded methodology fully on track.

The main objective of the ESPON TIA Upgrade project is to upgrade and expand the ESPON Territorial Impact Assessment methodology, moving beyond the existing “quick check” approach towards a more scientifically rigorous, flexible and policy-relevant tool.
