In November 2015 the Committee of the Regions launched a test phase on applications of the TIA quick scan – developed by OIR within the ESPON programme. Two events have been conducted during the last months – on the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive as well as on the EU Skills Agenda. The workshops were organised as interactive discussions where experts discussed their views on the effects of the Directives/ policy initiatives on the local and regional level.

Erich Dallhammer and Bernd Schuh from OIR prepared and guided the workshops and tests of the ESPON TIA tool. The events so far have been regarded as a success and therefore two more workshops are about to come up in the coming months.
