A large number of researchers, representatives of cities, funding agencies and provinces attended the final conference of the research project SPRINKLE, which took place on 15 December 2015. Christof Schremmer from OIR led through the program as overall moderator. The presentations included project results from SPRINKLE – presented by Ursula Mollay from OIR and our project partners – and experiences from Smart City development in Austrian cities.

The presentations included project results from SPRINKLE – presented by Ursula Mollay from OIR and our project partners – and experiences from Smart City development in Austrian cities. In the afternoon, further researchers as well as a representative of the German program EnEff:Stadt shared their experiences with the participants of the conference. The concluding panel discussion brought insights into the current challenges and further smart city implementation of cities as well as in the work at the provincial level, the Association of Cities and the relevant Austrian providers of funds.
