After more than one year, the ESPON InTerAlp project has come to an end. In a consortium led by the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and with contributions from various partners, the project developed an innovative GIS-based method to delineate Alpine interface areas (located between inner-Alpine highlands and peri-alpine lowlands) and to explore their specific dynamics, challenges and potentials.
