On 4 May 2026, Arndt Münch presented our study ‘Generational change in agriculture: Comparative analysis of businesses run by young farmers in selected EU countries’ to the European Parliament’s Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development (AGRI).

The presentation focused on generational renewal dynamics in EU agriculture, the characteristics of farm businesses run by young farmers, and the role of CAP 2023–2027 and national policy measures in supporting young and new entrants. The comparative analysis covered Finland, Spain, Luxembourg and Poland, highlighting differences in farm structures, policy approaches and the wider framework conditions shaping generational transition.
