The REMIX INTERREG Project REMIX Smart and Green Mining Regions of EU analyses good practices on the interface between mining and spatial development. The Austrian project partner Montanuniversität Leoben hosted a workshop on June 27th in Leoben to exchange experiences based on Austrian examples. Erich Dallhammer presented the relation between the Austrian national mining legislation and the provincial spatial planning laws.

The REMIX INTERREG Project REMIX Smart and Green Mining Regions of EU analyses good practices on the interface between mining and spatial development. The Austrian project partner Montanuniversität Leoben hosted a workshop on June 27th in Leoben to exchange experiences based on Austrian examples. Erich Dallhammer presented the relation between the Austrian national mining legislation and the provincial spatial planning laws. He explained the new approach of the Austrian province Burgenland of a framework concept for sand and gravel extraction (in German).
