The 21st International Conference on Urban Planning and Regional Development in the Information Society (REAL CORP) took place in Hamburg from June 22nd – 24th. One morning was dedicated to the CASUAL research project. In two thematic sessions “Planning Attractive and Sustainable Urban Areas: Public Transport, Travel Behaviour and Lifestyles” and “Urban Labs – Appropriate Approach for Smart City Development” the team of TU Delft, Nordregio and OIR (Jiannis Kaucic, Ursula Mollay, Christof Schremmer, Joanne Tordy) presented and discussed the results of three years of research, which was funded under the joint Programming initiative Urban Europe.
