In the framework of Taiex Instrument, the Ministry of Urban Development of Albania hosted an expert mission in the field of Urban Planning from 27th March to 30th March 2017. Present in the mission were Bernd Schuh from OIR and Rudolf Schicker, Priority Area Coordinator and former Deputy Mayor for Urban Development, Transport and Traffic in Vienna. Participants from Albanian side were experts from the Ministry of Urban Development, National Territorial Planning Agency and the Territorial Development Agency.
In the framework of Taiex Instrument, the Ministry of Urban Development of Albania hosted an expert mission in the field of Urban Planning from 27th March to 30th March 2017. Present in the mission were Bernd Schuh from OIR and Rudolf Schicker, Priority Area Coordinator and former Deputy Mayor for Urban Development, Transport and Traffic in Vienna. Participants from Albanian side were experts from the Ministry of Urban Development, National Territorial Planning Agency and the Territorial Development Agency. The experts supported the Albanian colleagues in setting up an evaluation scheme for the spatial development plan of the Tirana Durres region. This was set up in a very intensive workshop character which helped both sides to understand the respective approaches and to empower the Ministry to set up such schemes on their own in the future.
