The “Higher Education, Research and Applied Science” project HERAS is being implemented across different regions of Kosovo by the World University Service (WUS Austria), the Centre for Social Innovation (ZSI) and the Österreichischer Austauschdienst (OeAD) thanks to a joint funding from the Austrian Development Agency and the Kosovar Ministry for Education, Science and Technology. In January 2019, Bernd Schuh and Ambre Maucorps from OIR, together with the evaluation expert Karin Kohlweg, met with the project consortium to launch the mid-term evaluation of the HERAS project. Over the next four months, OIR and the wider evaluation team will assess the relevance, effectiveness, sustainability and potential follow-up of the project on the basis of qualitative and quantitative methods, including on-site stakeholder consultation. Further information is available on the project website.
