On June 16th 2017 the Regional Parliament of Castilla y León hosted an international seminar of the CALRE (Conference of European Regional Legislative Assemblies) working group on depopulation and ageing (for more information, follow this link). Bernd Schuh presented results from a study conducted with S4S and T33 for the Committee of the Regions on European Regional Impact of Demographic Change.
On June 16th 2017 the Regional Parliament of Castilla y León hosted an international seminar of the CALRE (Conference of European Regional Legislative Assemblies) working group on depopulation and ageing (for more information, follow this link). Bernd Schuh presented results from a study conducted with S4S and T33 for the Committee of the Regions on European Regional Impact of Demographic Change. The results of the study, elaborated by Helene Gorny, Jiannis Kaucic and Sanja Brkanovic, underlined the importance of the topic and presented some options for policy action on the regional scale. As a consequence OIR will remain an advisor to the working group and contribute to its future work.
