For the secound time Bernd Schuh from OIR has conducted a training on Smart indicators for EU Funds 2014-2020 for the European Academy for Taxes, Economics & Law on May 19th and 20th 2014. The interactive training together with Benedict Wauters – Deputy Director for Strategy, Innovation, Evaluation and Methodology, European Social Fund Agency Flanders – has dealt with European Commission’s reguirements regarding the reinforced focus on results, the development of new operational programmes in order to reach the intended effects and changes. A special emphasis has been put on the determination of change and the creation of indicators as well as the measurement of output and resluts in the framework of good performance management. 18 participants from 8 EU Member States have shown great interest, so that the European Academy is planning to organize another seminar with this topic in autumn this year.
