As part of the project ‘Synergies between the Horizon Europe Missions and EU regional policy in Austria’ on behalf of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), Arndt Münch, Ursula Mollay and Manon Badouix took part in the ÖROK workshop ‘Regions x Missions: Smart Missions for Innovative Regional Development’. In the morning, initial hypotheses on the embedding of mission-based approaches in Austria’s EU regional policy were presented. In the afternoon, the first possible intersections were discussed with the implementation bodies of the EU funding programmes in a World Café. The results of this workshop will be incorporated into the targeted interface analysis.
