Under the topic “Revealing territorial potentials and shaping new policies – Contribution to the post-2020 Cohesion policy debate “, an ESPON seminar was held from 24 to 25 of May in Valletta, Malta. Christof Schremmer presented results of the project „Territories and low-carbon economy“, and answered the question of how to better address the issue of renewable energy in the framework of future Cohesion policy.

Bernd Schuh discussed results of the project „Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in European Regions and Cities“, and the importance of multi-level governance in this respect.
