On November 5th and 6th 2015, the Regional Studies Association’s (RSA) workshop on “EU Cohesion Policy: Focus on The Territorial Dimension” took place at the University of Lisbon. The two-day workshop discussed the topic of assessing territorial impacts at various spatial levels as well as the implementation of the Territorial Agenda and the European Spatial Development Perspective. Further, the question of achieving territorial cohesion in the EU was addressed.

Stephanie Essig and Jiannis Kaucic from OIR presented the project findings of the ESPON TIA project (finalised in 2014) and its contribution to territorial impact assessment in the frame of EU Cohesion Policy.
