On behalf of the United Nations Development Programme ÖIR together with SPRINT Scientific Policy Consulting conducted an assessment of the Riyadh Urban Observatory urban development indicators of the Riyadh Urban Observatory in Riyadh. ÖIR presented the evaluation results in a participatory workshop and held a participatory training workshop for stakeholders of urban development planning in Riyadh based on the results of the evaluation.
The training workshop focused on linking indicators to the strategic goals, programmes and initiatives of the Riyadh City strategy. Bernd Schuh was particularly responsible for the planning and holding of the workshops, Isabella Messinger for the assessment of the urban development indicators.
