As part of their presidency of the EUSALP macro-region, Austria and Liechtenstein have commissioned ÖIR and Rosinak & Partner to carry out a territorial analysis of the Alpine region. The aim of this task is to present a technical, territorial view of the important issues and challenges in the Alpine region. The results of this analysis should support the EUSALP members (7 countries and 48 regions) in their work towards an empowered alpine governance. The expert community and the wider EUSALP community will be activated around that subject through a social media campaign and an expert seminar. The results of this study will be presented at the annual EUSALP Forum in November 2025. On the ÖIR side, Erich Dallhammer, Manon Badouix, Mailin Gaupp-Berghausen and Cristian Andronic are involved on behalf of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management.
