Large scale projects with huge investment needs and long life spans are potentially heavily affected by the climate change. Thus, it is essential to analysing the impacts of climate change during the planning phase when preparing the documents for an environmental impact assessment (EIA). Within the research project “SPECIFIC – SPEcific ClImate change ForesIght in projeCt design and EIA” an web based „UVPklimafit-Infoportal“ was developed. It supports project developers to assess the effects of climate change on the design of a large scale project.
