The city of Split on the Croatian Mediterranean coast is a hotspot of tourism during the summer months. The city administration of Split plans to reuse parts of the central railway station and the railway station of Kapilice for urban development. Lead by IC Consulenten Austrian planning experts develop a new masterplan financed by the EBRD.

The city administration of Split plans to reuse parts of the central railway station and the railway station of Kapilice for urban development. Lead by IC Consulenten Austrian planning experts develop a new masterplan financed by the EBRD. Christof Schremmer, Erich Dallhammer and Ursula Mollay from OIR will analyse the existing potentials and restrictions for the future development of both sites and develop options for a new development. In a first kick-off meeting with the Croatian Railway Society and the Split City Administration the project was launched at the beginning of February 2018.
