Three innovative ships concepts and the most effective technical innovations for the existing Danube fleet were elaborated and identified by the project team of ‘Innovative Danube Vessel’. The aim is to provide solutions, which improve Danube navigation efficiency in economic and ecologic terms. The project results have been endorsed by EU-Commissioner Johannes Hahn from political side, but also external experts appreciated the realistic exploitation figures and the praxis-oriented approach.
