ÖIR was commissioned by the Saxon State Ministry for Regional Development to evaluate the Interreg Saxony – Czech Republic 2021-2027 programme. As a first service component, ÖIR will examine the implementation of the programme. A particular focus will be placed on identifying implementation obstacles, assessing target achievement, as well as investigating the impacts of administrative reform within the programme and evaluating the implementation of small project funds. In the course of this, OIR discussed and validated the evaluation approach with programme stakeholders in Dresden. Arndt Münch, Roland Gaugitsch and Erich Dallhammer are working on this evaluation at ÖIR.
