“Get inspired – How to start changing mobility behaviour in cities and regions” This was the motto of the SaMBA closing event in Turin in October 2021. Together with international mobility experts, Mailin Gaupp-Berghausen from ÖIR discussed possible nudging effects and the role of the public authority in the field of sustainable mobility solutions. SaMBA stands for “Sustainable Mobility Behaviours in the Alpine Region” and aims to trigger behavioural changes that lead to an increased use of sustainable transport options and reduce car dependency.
