On 20 May 2022 ÖIR, HNEE, and HSLU-ITW organised a workshop on sustainable tourism and the EU Transition Pathway for Tourism in Brussels. This workshop was organised as part of the European Commission DG GROW and EISMEA project “Unbalanced tourism growth at destination level – root causes, impacts, existing solutions and good practices”.

Tourism stakeholders from across Europe attended to share and discuss their perspectives and solution approaches to unsustainable tourism. Arndt Münch and Bernd Schuh from OIR, Wolfgang Strasdas and Dagmar Lund-Durlacher from HNEE and Fabian Weber from HSLU-ITW moderated this event.
