In November 2014 the OIR held a one-day training in territorial impact assessment with a group of employees of the Committee of the Regions (CoR) in Brussels, as well as a one-day workshop, discussing the territorial impact of the ‘Smooth phasing out of the milk quotas in the European Union’. On the first day, Bernd Schuh and Stephanie Essig introduced the CoR members in the ESPON TIA Web Application and discussed tips and tricks for moderating TIA workshops. On the second day, a group of 20 participants discussed the territorial effects of the phasing out of the EU milk quotas on the European regions intensively. Both events were organised in cooperation with ESPON.
