The ESPON SUPER project seeks to measure and understand the drivers behind and the mechanisms of land-use changes in Europe, and the extent to which these changes are affected by territorial governance and spatial planning interventions. After reaching the second milestone – the ESPON SUPER interim report – the project team met and discussed the collected data on land-use development, interventions, EU-Policies and scenarios.

The ESPON SUPER project seeks to measure and understand the drivers behind and the mechanisms of land-use changes in Europe, and the extent to which these changes are affected by territorial governance and spatial planning interventions. After reaching the second milestone – the ESPON SUPER interim report – the project team met and discussed the collected data on land-use development, interventions, EU-Policies and scenarios. The next phase of the project is bringing together the data on sustainable urbanization and land-use practices and integrating them into good conclusions and recommendations. The meeting took place in the premises of the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency. Erich Dallhammer und Mailin Gaupp-Berghausen from OIR attended the meeting.
