The ESPON SECC project – Spill-over Effects of European Capitals of Culture on Territorial Development – has officially been kicked off. Led by the HÉTFA Research Institute, the project will examine how European Capitals of Culture can generate lasting socio-economic and territorial impacts beyond their host cities.
At ÖIR, Roland Gaugitsch and Sabrina Mansutti are responsible for developing the socio-economic impact analysis methodology and will implement the Bad Ischl–Salzkammergut case study.
