The ESPON CORE-IB project, led by Friedrich-Alexander University, has been successfully completed. The project developed standardised territorial profiles for 48 INTERREG A programmes across the EU, thereby making an important contribution to programme development for the 2028–2034 period.
A large project team at the ÖIR, coordinated by Roland Gaugitsch and Sabrina Mansutti, was responsible for compiling indicators and analysing 12 programme areas. All programme reports and technical documentation are available on the project website.
