ÖIR was awarded the mid-term evaluation of the German ERDF Thuringia 2021-2027 programme by the Thuringian Ministry for Economy, Science and Digital Society. Ursula Mollay, Arndt Münch and Erich Dallhammer attended the ERDF Thuringia annual conference in Erfurt on 28 November to present interim results of the mid-term evaluation to the programme stakeholders. The project team then discussed in more detail in workshops how the programme can support SME investments, renewable energy investments and research and development in Thuringia. In the coming months the evaluation team will develop recommendations on how to improve programme delivery, programme STEP and support the final allocation of the flexibility reserve.
