The final report of the study “CE FLOWS – Spatial dynamics and integrated territorial development scenarios for the functional area of Central Europe” by VVA together with ÖIR, Politecnico di Milano, and CIVITTA was published by ESPON in autumn 2021. The study investigated the programme area of Interreg Central Europe in terms of regional flows and interlinkages, partnership networks, untapped potentials resulting from borders, development scenarios of the area by 2030, as well as policy recommendations to improve transnational cooperation. ÖIR analysed spatial dynamics as well as regional interlinkages and flows in the Central Europe programme area using territorial data in a cluster and GIS analysis.
