By September 2014 the Bulgaria-Turkey IPA CBC Programme 2014-2020 had been approved by the Programme’s Managing Authority, the Ministry of Regional Development of the Republic of Bulgaria and Turkey, acting as national authority. Ahead to the approval, the Joint Working Group of the Programme discussed the content of the Operational Programme in Ankara and adopted its final version. The OP has now been delivered to the European Commission for approval. Bernd Schuh and Stephanie Essig from OIR were involved in the preparation process together with an international consortium led by Project Planning & Management Ltd. The process comprised the preparation of all relevant elements, including amongst others an in-depth baseline and SWOT analysis as well as the strategy development and regional consultation processes.
