Wind Energy

We prepare well-founded evidence to support spatial planning processes in the construction of new wind farms as well as for the expansion of existing plants.

Wind Energy

The expansion of wind energy represents an important contribution to a successful energy transition. However, it can also lead to land-use and stakeholder conflicts of the area.

We prepare well-founded evidence to accompany spatial planning processes in the construction of new wind farms as well as for the expansion of existing plants. Additionally, we support public and private actors in examining the impacts of energy projects on land use, landscapes, and the environment. In this regard, the deployment of GIS-based visualisation techniques can provide insights into land- and townscape effects of new or expanded wind parks. We manage stakeholder coordination processes and advise decision makers in questions of wind energy, as well as municipalities and wind farm operators.
