Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) enable the integration of environmental considerations into planning decisions at an early stage in the preparation of plans and programmes. The environmental impact assessment (EIA) starts with a specific project and examines its impacts on the environment on the basis of concrete criteria.

Within the framework of SEAs, we can manage all necessary procedural steps – from screening and scoping, to the preparation of the environmental reports and the consultation of authorities and the public. We organise and moderate preparation processes of SEAs, linking the processes of the environmental assessment with the programme preparation. In the context of EIAs, we prepare expert opinions for project applicants and authorities on topics such as spatial planning, landscape, tourism and transport. We estimate the regional economic effects of projects in terms of regional value creation and employment effects.
